Nonghyup Foundation, Rural and Urban Win-win Market

The Nonghyup Foundation announced on the 26th that it will open the 'Agricultural Products Direct Marketplace' in front of the Yeouido Foundation Building in order to contribute to the increase of farm household income by promoting coexistence of farms and cities and agricultural products sales.

The mall, which is held every Monday through Friday until November this year, is enjoying great popularity by directly selling quality agricultural products produced by farmers at a price 20 ~ 30% lower than that of local agricultural cooperatives.

The National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF) receives the application from the NACF to decide on the items to be participated in the NACF and to sell primary agricultural products such as stored agricultural products (apple, pear, etc.) and steel farm products (garlic, onion etc.) And plans to expand items to livestock products and flowers in the future.

Kim Nam-hee, director general of the Nonghyup Foundation, said, "We informed residents and workers of about 5,000 apartment buildings near the Foundation Building of our excellent agricultural products, and farmers were thinking about ways to buy cheaper prices for urban consumers. It is heartwarming that it contributes to the increase of the income of the farmhouse as well as the coexistence of the city ".
