Top Consumer prices rose 2.2%, below 4 years and 9 months



[South Korea's Choice Financial News Reporter] Last month, consumer prices showed a high growth rate rose to 2.2 percent.

According to the National Statistical Office, the consumer price trend in March, announced the 4th March consumer price index rose 2.2% over the previous year. This is the highest rate in four years and nine months later in June 2012 (2.2%).

CPI stood up as 1% since September last year, rose to 2.0% in January this year.

Service prices have raised the overall price rise of 2.1% 1.16% points. Agricultural and marine products up shaft, also raised the 5.8% total water 0.46% point.

Petroleum since November 2011, to 14.4% (16.0%) posted the biggest rise in overall inflation 0.59% drag points.

Sources inflation excluding agricultural and petroleum rose 1.4%.

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) based on the source of inflation excluding food and energy index rose 1.7%.

Living price index rose 2.8% over the previous year. Fresh food prices, including vegetables, fruits soared 7.5% in the new year.
