IFRS Foundation Seminar

The Korea Accounting Standards Board held a commemorative seminar for the inauguration of professor Kwak Soo-kun at the Bankers Club on February 25, which took office as the Foundation Director of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation in February this year.

The meeting was attended by academics, accounting firms, and corporations. In this seminar, we invited people from the accounting sector to exchange views on the role of IFRS Foundation directors and how to work with the IFRS Foundation in the future.

After the congratulatory address of Professor Kim Jae-hong, CEO of Chung-jin Chung University, a keynote speech was held on the subject of "The Goals of the IFRS Foundation and the Trustees' Task" by the new Foundation Director.
